Divorce
I help clients with all areas of their divorce: fair and equitable distribution, fair property valuation, issues of child custody, securing parenting time, maintenance ("alimony"), and child support.

I have undertaken extensive training in the Collaborative Law approach to divorce. This method of resolving marital disputes is being used more frequently by clients, because it reduces confrontations and costs and allows my clients to reach fair, mutually agreeable solutions in less time.

If a more traditional approach is in your best interest, I will use the court system to defend your rights and interests.

Family Court
If you are involved in a dispute with the other parent of your child regarding child custody, visitation, child support, or paternity, I will protect and defend your rights in these proceedings. I also represent parents accused in Child Protective Services proceedings involving child abuse or neglect. If you are a victim of domestic violence, let me help you to use the protections of the courts ensure your safety and that of your children. If you have been falsely charged with domestic violence, I will defend your rights.

Adoption
As an adoption lawyer, I have helped hundreds of couples fulfill their dream of parenthood. I work with both private and public adoption agencies to assist couples to become adoptive parents. As an international adoption lawyer, I work with international adoption agencies from various countries, and parents who have adopted children from Russia, China, India, South America or other countries. I help them readopt in New York so their rights will be clear and definitive under New York law.
